Size:  80.1 KB

    Can anyone identify this bird I saw perching in my yard? There is nothing to show scale, but its body is about the size of a mockingbird. It was catching flying insects.

    Northwest Bossier Parish, LA, where I live, is just barely inside the eastern edge of its range.

    I see them pretty often around here. They're fun to watch when they're chasing bugs. Pretty aerobatic little suckers.
