    Default 1st Crappie Triple Header

I planned on fishing today as it’s the lowest cloudy windy day,
Got up early and was at the Big Allison ramp at 7.
Cold and drizzle meant I wasn’t interested in going all over the lake.
Got 8 rods out with mostly dark colors , got a few perch and 1 Crappie early.
Then another Crappie on the green white jig. Began to switch to green white or blue white, whatever I had.
Pretty soon I was doing well. Got 6 then it stopped.
Trolled to next spot, thinking my day was over , when I got there BAM , 3 rods down at once!
Got all 3 in the boat

    1 nice perch
    2 kitties
    2 thugs

Most on the jigs I tied up1st Crappie Triple Header

That's a great day in my book. Maybe I'm the only one that eats bass, but I'll put a fillet from a 1-3 lb bass up against bout any other fish. Heck, I like them all, cept Mudfish and Carp.

Also at the ramp was a dog with collar and leash that was lost and crying.
We made friends and she ate 2 packs of cheese crackers.
She is a Red Healer and in now at York Animal Control if anyone knows the owner.Name: IMG_3920.jpg

Brett, you did great! Glad you started to get some fish early. Yes it was a good day to longline and I was thinking about it at work all morning. Tomorrow will be my day to try and it will be my only day off until Sunday! I have had my long rods with me but no need to put them out on the windy days I've gotten to go. Would have been a gaggle &x%$. Great pictures and report. Looks like quality fish too! You are the Wylie man!!!

You should have taken her home with you and ran an ad in the paper. If not claimed you would have a heck of a fishing partner. Never complain about going home all the time and be happy to see you every day! I hope owners claim her. She's a good looking dog!
