    Default Fish attractor size


    I have a bunch of 1 3/4” poly that I’m going to make some spider blocks with. It came off a reel so most of it has a pretty good curve to it. Should I try to straighten them out some? What would be the ideal height?

    Most that I've seen are just cut straight in half and that works pretty good, the size you have 1 3/4" would be a little hard to straighten without using a heat gun or something similar. I have some 5/8" which can be placed out in the sun and it gets pretty limber.

    I think most prefer the upturned pipe so line will slip up and not get hung up a easy.

    3' pieces placed in the concrete with the pipes upturned as Dyabolical said is what is normally done.

    Use some sandpaper on them before you put them in the water. A rough surface attracts algae faster vs smooth
