I have never fished the lake but want to this year, does anyone know if a depth map is available online?

Anyone get out on Taylorsville this weekend? Just wondering if it's still a mess and if the ramps are functional? Thinking about going in the morning. Looks like it's still 7+ feet over pool

You might want to check out navionics.com and look at chart viewer.

This has been a long spring! Pics from Taylorsville this morning. Bad sign when you see one trailer in the parking lot. Almost attempted to back her in but chickened out because I was by myself and probably would have gotten wet. Water is 6.4 feet above pool and rising. I guess I will sit in the driveway and organize my gear![]()

I almost drove away one morning about a year ago. The water was about the same level. It was solid brown and half of the surrounding woods was floating in the lake! Oh, and it was 28 when we left the ramp. But the crappie were hungry that day. Fished the same spots I had normally been fishing and they were killing it. Don't get discouraged by the level, water color, trash, pressure, temp, etc... My dad and I were feeling like a couple of the most ignorant people on earth when we launched the boat. But on the way home, we were amazed that we actually caught several fish. Remember, fish have always got to eat. It might as well be you that's feeding them!

Not sure, but probably much the same (as far as water level up the ramp) ... but, likely several more boat trailers.
The dam output today is down to 438cfs ... but, with a week of rain in the forecast, it's likely to be cranked back up into the thousands of cubic feet per second.
This chart shows how Taylorsville has reacted to heavy rain events over the last year ...
Most notable is the Feb/Mar section of the chart ... and the fact that there was flooding downstream of the Salt River at the same time, so the water had to be held back. But, you can also see the little bump in the middle of last April's water levels, when the water was dirty/trashy right at the beginning of the pre-spawn/spawn period.

The marina is open and the dock was accessible as of Friday. Not sure what yesterday’s rain slush did but it should still be open.
