Had to keep my hands busy someway, so I took a couple of photos. It was a beautiful morning and I enjoyed every minute of it. Found the fish, they just wasn't tempted to my offerings! LOL

Yeah, I've found piles of fish on the graph that would not bite too. Maybe they were not Crappie, dono. But did manage a few in deeper water. And the deep water crappie were all nice. Few and far between, but nice.

The way that looks i would have pulled in the crappie rods, and broke out the bass gear. I need to find that lake, Looks like Bass heaven.

    Hey C_D,

You are right, have caught many nice Bass while fishing for Crappies, on small jigs. Open to the Public Friday thru Mondays only, many bass fishermen come there and practice for upcoming tournaments and for fun, and the possibility of catching a double digit Largemouth. Tenoroc phosphate pits, North East lakeland. Only two of the pits allow gas motors at idle speeds only. Multiple pits to be fished, most have excellent ramps. Lots of wildlife among the beautiful scenery.

    Regards

Good pics and a real nice morning out. I went Saturday morning myself and while I did boat a few, I felt like they weren't up to what they could have been. A little off the mark. Glad you got out anyway. Pretty place.
