Met by buddy Tim at the ramp at 7 this morning with a bitter cold 35 degrees showing on my dash. Fish didnt seem to mind and by 8:30 we had our 2 slot reds in the cooler at 26.5" and 2 5" and off in search of other willing players. Pretty busy morning and ended with 1 trout 2 sheepshead and 2 Bluefish keeping the reds company. Noon came quick as I had to beat it home to my wife. Had a great time catching up with him and many other old friends. Mangroves are alive with fish, had birds hanging around at nearly every bar and felled tree in water. Freelined shrimp got all the takers today.![]()
