Not a fan of high winds.
I rely on sliders over straight tails this time of year.

I went fishing with my friend Jerry today. Put in at Chester Frost Park and fished around Harrison Bay.
We fished from about 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. The water temp. averaged 51* and to my suprise still pretty stained. The wind was probably 100 mph! (15-20 mph) lol. It was miserable fishing in the wind so we moved up into Wolftever Creek to avoid the wind and check to see how the bait and fish were staging. They were scattered and could not find very much bait.
We ended the day catching 6 with 4 keepers. Mostly longlining using BGBS. The color that caught all the fish was a new Mo Glo color Jerry brought. I think he said it was Misty Blue. The color looked white/blue on the btm and light blue with silver flakes on the top.
The water level is still at winter pool. Be alert and watch your depth. I will be glad in a couple of weeks where TVA begins bringing the water level back up to summer pool.

Good job and thanks for the report. The wind was tough yesterday as well as the bite.
Wind sucks but seems you managed through it well, good report.
Good job, Bob. You did good in spite of the wind. Grin.
I'm always thankful to read a report from you! Look forward to seeing you out there this year!
