Back out on Big Allison this morning. The wind was tough today. The only place I found fish was out in the open in 30'. I used 2 drift socks to slow the boat down. The only way I could get any bites was to have the minnows & jigs bouncing off the bottom in 30'. I tried fishing with the big anchor out but fish were scattered & wanted the bait moving. Finally quit about 2 & headed in.

I ended up with 1 cat, 1 crappie & 25 good size perch.

At least you went and tried. Sorry! The fish didn't get memo that you were there to give them a free ride. Better luck next time Mr. Charles!

Your day was better than mine. At least you caught enough to stink up the grease

Good to know. I thought about trying it early. Didn’t seem windy at 8am
