    Default norman crappie 3-10-18


    It was bad slow today for us!!! I must have forgot how to catch crappie! We couldn't find them today and when we found a few, they wouldn't bite! water temp has dropped, 51 to 54 depending on where you were. we tried deep brush, 20 to 30 feet, not much there, tried shooting docks , not much there, caught a few vertical jigging around deep docks. Put 28 crappie in the boat, kept 14, biggest was right at 16 inches. caught a few around the bridges. 7;30 am til 3 pm. At least I'll have a few to eat tomorrow.

    Had planned to go after the big cats, but changed my mind yesterday, should have went after the cats!
