    Default Spring camp at Weiss


    Me and my dad are coming down. Going to get there Friday am. We are staying at Weiss lake lodge due to Cowan Creek being full. My dad only uses minnows Where is a good ramp and place to get live bait at? I plan on fishing Cowan creek area Saturday.

    We have two cabins reserved at Cowan Creek. Plenty of beds left if you want a couple

    you can get minnards at the store at Cowan Creek I think. There is a boat raomp there also.

    I think Weiss Lake Lodge has bait right there. Depends on what area of the lake you want to fish there are boat ramps all over, Cowan Creek, Speedy's, Bay Springs, Riverside, Little River Marina, Chatooga Bridge (Hwy.9), Leesburg Landing .

    We will be at Cowan Creek Friday and Saturday morning between 6:00 and 7:00 am. Will be in the store eating breakfast. Come on in and there will be a bunch there to help you out.

    We will see you Saturday for sure. We’re driving up Friday am and not yet on what time we are leaving it’s about 2 1/2 drive. I’m going to be in the area one day next week and plan on driving around a little.
