Thread: Trinity report

they turned the water off and now its ruined for crappie best I can tell ya ......that said the striped fish are good if that's your bag . water is about a foot plus deeper than it was before they let it rip and kinda cloudy , with light current .
also the heavy current from last week moved a lot of the cover around and its a new ball game in some spots . I did yak with some yak er folks who said it was pitiful slow all over the river and after 6 hours with 2 yaks they managed only 4 crappie .
the crappie are likely gone back to the lake or headed that way for sure best I can tell ya . but one never knows for sure
I wont be back there at that particular location probably until next fall looking for crappie .

Then again I might go one more time just to make sure ....
