Thread: Caney Saturday an Saline Lake at Winnfield Sunday

Went to Caney Saturday and caught 1 small bass, 1 bream and 1 crappie. All on jigs. There were 2 bass tourneys and usually a constant 5 ft wave from all of them. I fished from 3ft deep to 42ft deep.







Went to Saline Sunday and fished several spawning spots and down to 25 ft deep. Caught 1 bream.

I think the lakes are turning over. Water was muddy looking, murky, and had trash from the bottom floating around on both lakes to me. That would explain no one catching anything.

I didn't do any good on Caney last weekend either. Fished 4 hours Saturday and caught 1-15' deep. Fished 5 hours sunday and caught one 5' deep close to the bank on a jig under a cork. Fished anywhere from 5' deep to 20' deep.
