    Sharing this report for my cousin Kevin. He has a place down on russell and fishes most every weekend. Yesterday, he flat wore out the fat mamas! He was single pole jigging brush. Not sure which creek, but i wouldnt give away his honey hole anyway.

    He kept 12 that weighed 27lbs! Largest was a 2.7, with 6 over 2.3!

    NICE Thanks for the report. Heading down there Thursday night to give it a try. Still don't know the lake to good but we get to take one trip a year with my son and after looking at the weather between Elberton or Alabama we decided Russell. We will try to find us some creeks with brush as long as rain doesn't mess it up. Was going to go to Chickamauga but it has been rolling mud since all the rain in middle Tennessee.
