I went to Lake Lavon for a scouting trip and Brockdale, Brattonia, Ticky Creek, Twin Groves, Little Ridge, Mallard Park were all closed due to high water.
East Fork, Lavonia, Elm Creek, Clearlake, and Highland Parks remain open for use. The lake was way up and I caught fish from 35' to 10'.

The water from LOP goes in Caddo, from there into the Red. But you are 100% right all it does to us is give us bad fishing. It doesn't matter if it is the Red or the Sabine the people in the south is going to big problems again! We do need to pray for them until this over. It rained here today an expecting more rain expected tomorrow. Thanks to all that are concerned.

Yes it sucks big time, this is 3 years in a row for us and now the lake is over full pool with gates open 2’ each now and both generators running. I believe the water changing and the current being more than normal really puts the skids on fishing!
last year was worse with that Hurricane and the year before we had the a ton of rain too. Tonight we are suppose to have severe weather again.
