    Default Indian Creek - 2/24/18

Fished Indian Creek last Saturday from 7-noon. The bite slowed as the day lengthened. Kept a dozen-threw back a few. All the ones cleaned were males but two. We think the two females were the two we caught deep on points. The rest were shallow under cork. All on jigs. Most of mine on Itty Bit Swim'Rs. We were limited by the wind as to where we could fish. Didn't try very many places. As much as I love the thump-and I do so love the thump. I also love watching my bobber go down in clear water and then take off to the side.

Lots say that, and I totally get it. It's a tough nut to crack, but I've been doing it long enough to figure out when it's good. Some of the prettiest fish you'll find anywhere due to the clear water.

Never crooked. Fished Old River a couple of times. Lot's of trouble for me to fish there. I will only go back if I get a very recent report and am told EXACTLY how to catch them.
Thanks fishervet thanked you for this post
