    I used to eat the tails all the time when I was a kid, my Grandma thought I was goofy (course she had good reason to). Then we started filleting them and I didn't save the tails anymore. But after seeing your post I'm going to fry some next time, they are good, just like chips. If I get a catfish dinner somewhere I still eat the tails, my wife gives me the same look g-ma did.

    Seems strange to me also but I guess don't knock it till you try it?

    I'm still trying to get the antler splinters out of my mouth when someone told me they were good to eat!

    well i do have bottles of deer scent which is urine guess will have to try it. LOL
