Any more deals on Black Max bait cast reels???

I am looking for some quality bait cast reels for spider rigging. Prefer Quantum in a Ultrex or Pulse or the ABU Garcia in the Black Max which I believe is what Gordon had found a deal on before. Prefer to have all 16 the same but would do 8 of one and 8 of another if that's what it takes to find some. Grizzly Jig and Everharts Outdoors usually have the Ultrex reels from $19.99 to $25.99 but both are out right now. So looking elsewhere to get 16 new minnow rigging and jig pushing poles set up.

Looking around the net I saw some sites listed the Quantum Ultrex as discontinued. The Zebco/Quantum website does not list the Ultrex. I'd say they don't make it anymore.
They show the Pulse - $49.99. That's about $800 for 16 reels. Gulp. I just want to catch some crappie.

The Pulse is my next option. We sell them for $39.99. Zebco also make a nice one for around $35 but we only had 4 left. The black max reels are pretty pricey when new. The ones Gordon found slightly used and new were a steal. The Ultrex is discontinued but there are a few places that bought up a ton of them in combos and have been taking them off the cheap bass rods and selling separate. Thats what the store did when they have a bunch of them and sold them for $20. I have not found any deals like that yet to get some. So looks like two sets of the Quantum Pulse is what I will be using. Manager discount will make them cheap enough to get 16 of them since I got a new trolling rod sponsor footing the bill for 16 rods

I screwed around and got a promotion after the first week or so being back at the store. As cool as fishing manager sounded they thought I needed the title of store manager. It does kind of have a good ring to it. I wish I could get demoted to Crappie manager. Or maybe you only get demoted if you are a crappy manager. So if I am a crappy manager some day I could get demoted to Crappie Manager
