Lake Harney or Econ River?
Has anyone on here fished Lake Harney or the Econ river in the last week? I plan on making a trip over tomorrow but would like to hear some kind of a report.

Hopefully someone will chime in here. I haven't been to Lk. Harney in several months. Lots of folks fishing the river before you enter the Econ and having a ball with the shad. I tried to eat a shad one time but it wasn't so good and didn't care for the roe either. Gar actually taste better, seriously.

Haven't fished there this year cept once at beginning = not a single bite in lake.
Certainly could've changed by now.
This time of year I do the Econ first (got a couple deep holes in there) ..
Then come out and jig the bumpers under the bridge, then, jig the bank down there just before getting to the lake ....
