    "aluminum wire preferably"
I talked with a ranger at Enid, one of the project vols gets it. Those project vols start early collecting what will be needed. They knock on heads getting things that will be needed. No other lake has this. Might as well speak it up at the next ones.

At Butla lake front owners got tired of the noise, late night parties, garbage on the flats, garbage that washed into their yards and complained. People living on access roads to the flats complained about driving in mud instead of the paved roads. Knocks on doors asking for a pull out or use a phone and not a dime left to help with the bill. A phone call from the lake to most anywhere was long distance. I saw more Desoto and Tate county officers at the lake than I did rangers or game officers.
You want it off your lake? Complain. Tell everyone you know to complain. One call doesn't get it. One phone number doesn't get it. Call till they get tired of your calls and call some more.

I toured Butla today as much as I could. Joel, that habitat that you drove through last year in the cove on the south side, could barely see the tops today. Habitat day a week away, I'd say boat drops or waders.

4 10s is slang for =4 ten hour days . It's also a size of a decent gray squirrel gun with the right load. I'm surprised the park rangers are doing that ( if it's true) at Sardis. Hard to provide a good service, and proper management if your gone 3 days a week.

Water level was at 212.8 last year when we did habitat day. It was a little over 216 yesterday when you were out there. With the rain this weekend it will rise well above 220'. If we get the rain they are saying mid to late next week it will be interesting to say the least. I remember seeing the corp and civilians in 2016 out there dropping trees and brush from boats. Looks like I will be in waders, or be glad to help load boats.

I received a Facebook post that Butla habitat day is cancelled for this year due to rising water.
