    The auto reset breaker trips once it gets so hot and will reset once it cools down. If you wrap or cover it up it's like putting a coat on it. It will just hold the heat in.

    Good to know , mine was never wrapped . wire is so stiff and breaker is sealed (I think). Will wrap soon .

    I always replace the ones like in the original picture. The buttons are really light and flimsy and I don't trust how cheap they are made. I install one of these.
