    Default 14' trolling rods

Can someone recommend which 14' trolling rod that Grizzly Jigs sales? Read a lot of people like their rods but which ones are recommended?
    Thanks Ray

Thanks, I thought they carried a generic rod for lack of words that was well liked. I'm familiar w B&M and Ozark but they are a little to rich for my blood.
    Thanks Ray

Southern Crappie rods are great rods for the money. If you just have to buy from grizzly look at the jimmy Houston pro series. They supposed to be a pretty good rod. They have 2 styles one has foam and one has cork for handles. Buddy of mine has fished them for about 4 years and swears by them. And this is a diehard crappie fisherman that fishes a lot. I talked to wade one time and he told me the rods were exactly the same except for handle material.

That depends on what kind of "trolling" you are talking about. Spider Rigging - Pushing - Pulling - Longline - ???
That may also depend on what material & strength you want the blank made of ... straight fiberglass, IM6 Graphite, IM7 or IM8 Graphite, Kevlar/carbon - ???

Spider Rigging & Longline trolling ... you may get away with a cheaper set of rods, but if your intent is Pushing & Pulling (jigs/cranks w/heavy weights) then you'd be better served with a higher end set of rods. In any case .. $40/rod is on the cheap end & $50-$60/rod is the average on the higher end. (not counting S/H)

Personally, I'd rather have 4 higher end rods (@$60/rod), than 6 cheaper ones (@$40/rod) ... if I was going to spend the same money on them (@$240/set). But, that's just me !!

Will be pushing and pulling. Don't have to buy from Grizzly but from reading I understand he carries some quality generic rods. was planning on going to a show this weekend and wanted something to compare to.
    Thanks Ray
