    Default Lochloosa harbor

Got here Saturday at sundown. The 16 hour trip took 25. We stoped to sleep for four got lost for one hour and stuck in traffic for an hour. Fished only and hour today due to rain and wind. Got three the biggest a keeper came on1/4 ounce beaver bottom that really cut through the wind. Got two small ones after dark on jig under float

thencamp is nice. The ramp that’s got bad reviews handled my deep v boat fine. There is a well stocked bait and tackle shop on site. My camp spot is five foot from lake. There is a covered boat slip with electric that came with camp site a few holes in roof but not much water in boat

the bar and diner also on site had fish fry for superb bowltoday

I looked at the web site. Looks like a nice place. I might try it one of these years. Looks like good trolling water. JC

Went out today. Water was 58 on east side of lake tried jigging with no successes. I then rigged up six 12 footnrods with crappie magnets and starting getting hits spider rigging off front immediately.

Good colors were pinks chartuses and bright green in various combinations. Only color that did not work was a natural green color. Caught 8. 10 to 12 inch and many shorts. Was in six to eight foot deprths

Got a few on trout magnet under Bobber that were small. Then some gills a bass and gold shiner. Corpses lake and water was warmer in afternoon. 66 on west side no bites

After dark got about ten small ones on minnow and Bobber

Good report. My daughter and I are coming down the 16th. New place and new lake for me. I also have heard bad reports on the ramp.

The ramp and docks have been re-finished. Water level is up but heavily stained per my last visit in January. The owners there have always been nice to me. I have never stayed there just launch and buy bait. Friendly staff.

Got out today in rain and fog. Wind was out of north early on. Went to north end of lake to get out of wind. Could not get spider rig rods all in water before getting big one. After lunch wife cane out and within five minutes of Fishing for first time this trip got a 15” on a beaver bottom. Ended day with 15 keepers that we let go. Got that many or more shorts below 9” in and one big bluegill. All fish in jigs no matter minnows either spider rigging, jigging below boat or jig under a Bobber
