My son moved to Montana in 2012, then on to Maine in 2015. He sold me on what to wear!

Muck boots are in my truck most all the time. They slip on, and off, very easily, and are very warm if its cold.

Amazon, or Zappo's, I think the pair I have will outlive me!

I found mine a couple of weeks before Christmas last year for $50 off at Academy Sports. Wife wanted to know what to get me...no brainer for $79. She got off cheap too.

Used to buy cheapo rubber boots. I wear them often around my land. They would last me at most 6 months. Wife got me a pair of muck boots. They lasted me about 7 years before i tore them up in a briar patch. Still work in up to about 6 inches of water....then it gets cold quick

Lacrosse and they last forever. If super cold, I stick a set of thermacell pro flex liners that are battery operated and have spare sets of batteries with me. With the phone app, I can turn the heat on and adjust it or shut them off when too warm.
