    Default Quality Trip

Seven of us went down to Florida last Sunday and fished until Wednesday. EVERY boat put fish in the boat and ALL fish were quality fish. This trip we boated many fish over 2 pounds and one hit 2 and 12 oz.. The fish were biting despite the rain, wind, and on last day from the NE. Most fish were caught running jigs about 4 feet in 8 FOW. Many on Blue/Black/Char but MOST on a Tenn Shad with orange head. Lot of pound fish were culled to stay in our 50 fish 2 day limit.

Best trip in years for quality fish. It has been years since we boated that many 2 pound fish. In Talquin's hay day we used to catch fish like this but Talquin has been beat to death. I hope Talquin comes back one day.
