    Default suffix line

The last two episodes of lindners angling show were both saying how good suffix nanobraid 6 lb. line is for crappie fishing.Any truth to that or just advertising?

I use Power Pro braid for dipping and Viscous mono for casting. The braid is for me just to flemsy to cast with it catches in the slightest wind.
I think it's kinda like Ford verses Chevy. They all work and it's just what you are confident using.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Braid has it's places and uses. I've used several brands and weights.
When I was fishing bass tournaments the general saying was, "If you get hung up and can't get loose wrap it around a cleat and start the big motor".
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

Same for me on both counts.

I used the braid for casting but I got tired of Greenpeace activists complaining about the trees I was uprooting and ruining bird and squirrel habitats and stuff.

Absolutely the best looking line when decorating trees, yellow tinsel!

I use the same braid for everything crappie (yellow power pro) but I also cast it with an 11 foot rod so I’m a little strange. (maybe A LOT!)

I like the braid for my jigging poles, gives me a little better feel for the lighter bites. Tried braid on my casting rigs, did not like, been using mono ever since, experimented with a couple brands used Viscous last year and was happy with it, probably go back with that this year.

Tried the Nanofil 6# on spin tackle and hated it. Not a fan of the uniknot at all and didn't like the way it worked with a loop knot.
