    Default Caney Thursday 1-25-18


    Started off very fast for me at daylight. I had 3 doubles before 9am! By 10 am it was over!!!I didn't catch another fish until 2:30pm. Probably had 12 early and 5 the rest of the day. Fished 32-40 ft deep in 35-45 FOW. All but 2 were caught on blue and white tube jigs PUMPED up with crappie nibbles thru the BAIT PUMP!! I had 17 in all, but they were alot smaller than the fish on saturday.     Good mess of fish Skipper. Congratulations! You did better at Caney than I did at Grand Bayou. Of course, when I think about it, you always catch more fish than I do; no matter where we fish. LOL!

    Nice catch!
    The wife and I went to Black Lake at Campti yesterday and didn't get a bite. We went to Caney this morning but didn't get there until after 8 am. Caught 4 quick, then they shut off. All small ones.

    Not sure if they’re still available. Started off people packing nibbles in a Cajun injector, filling tube jigs up.
