The big Lake is producing some good eater size Black Crappie. I Had a Fun time with a great Crappie fisherman, Rusty. While hanging around the ramp, we got to Talk with Mr. Mark Hendricks (Mr. Crappie on Lake Maumelle). That dude knows where and how to wack em. He gives great advise and has decades of experience there.
The OD Green/Chartreuse (pictured) have out produced any other offering. But we fished some muddy water and black/Char. Did the trick too.

so the lake is full of black specs? nice haul and isn't it great when the crappie guru on your lake shares his knowledge! I have sought out the guru's on my home lake and made them my friends or at least acquainted with them and they are always will to share. GFU!

It is a great thing to learn. I am always listening and open to hearing from others. As we all know, everytime we go out We learn and adapt to conditions for that day. Many factors play out to whether we catch them or not.
God bless...on this Day the Lord made...Sunday.
