    Nice day to be on the water but a lot of boats out. Water temperature was 44 to start.

    Tight lined minnows out in the main channel this morning. Bite was real slow. Did not mark many schools of bait or fish. I ended up with 3 crappies, 1 cat & 6 perch.

    The only bad part about a warm weekend is the pleasure boater when trying to fish.

    Any reports on Secession? I know from y'alls post that boat traffic makes fishing Secession difficult. I was hoping to have a couple of trips there before the pleasure boaters took over.

    Ray lets get together and go try it cannot go Wednesday sister in law having heart surgery. Thursday or Friday would be good or next week. Just let me know when you want to go we take my boat

    Maybe next time Mr. Charles. Our luck was six crappie and about 50 perch. 34 ft. seemed to be where the perch were wanting hang out. Crappie mixed in but far in between.
