Default Saturday, 13 Jan 18 Report

I fished Saturday for about 5 hours, 7 -12 am, and I experienced a slow bite. Only had nine bites that day, and missed one of 'em. Caught two under-size Stripers, at 15" and 17", and one small yellow perch about 10". Here are the other five fish. It's what's for dinner:

Of course, I am thankful just to get out there in "the garden":

Sweet. That bass coloration is wicked. Looks like its parents fooled around with a snakehead.

I know. It is nasty looking, with orange eyes. Almost looks like a small-mouth. I was wondering if it was a hybrid from some of those foreign bass they put in Back Bay. Maybe they are getting around.
