I was out twice in south central Pa. However I needed my ice auger to hit the water. We have 8 to 12 inches of ice so not sure about using your ranger bass boat! My friend Terry and I started fishing before 8 am and fished until 5 pm yesterday. Caught 16 yellow perch (ring perch) and 2 largemouths. Biggest bass was 18. Needless to say I slept well last night!

Learned the hard way not to bust ice at the ramp backing the trailer in. The ice busts your tailights first.

Been there done that in Northern Ill. Slab knows about it to. Now he's down there in Disneyland pickin them big boys. But in my defense I was rear ended four weeks ago, the green machine is no more. Dude plowed into my truck with a avalanche. Pushed my trailer hitch down to the ground, bent the frame up sideways. Hence no fishin, But I just bought me a 2013 GMC pick me up. And now she' ready but frozen water and ED if you didn't know the water left Currituck for warmer parts. So as sooon as I can get out I will be back out there.
