    Default Transmission problems

I know a good transmission shop is hard to find.... can anyone recommend a good transmission shop in the Cleveland area? Mine has gone haywire! 07 Chevrolet Silverado classic never slipped or shifted hard and pulled out on to the highway this afternoon boom made a horrible pop noise and then nothin.... first thought was broke a u joint but nope that's all there! Now comes the weird part it will pull in reverse nothing I D nothing in 3 it will pull 2 and 1! I don't get it! Any help on recommending a shop or something to check would be greatly appreciated! Oh and fluid is not burnt at all!

Send Torch or Mo'money a pm. One of them should be able to help you out.

If they can't Spencer Williams between Oxford and Water Valley is dang good. He has dobe a couple E4ODs for me, they are a major pain in the butt and have to be right behind them 7.3 strokes.

Mine did similar but dash lit up with errors. It would shift but shift hard and only had 1&2. It was the control module. I think $600 all in fixed it. It actually shifts and pulls better now than it did before.

I hooked my code reader up to it and no codes active maybe I will be lucky enough to get out of this with only a 600 dollar repair bill! I will try and get up with torch and mo to see about a reputable shop
