New to Crappie.com and Texas, need help with bank crappie fishing near Grapevine

Hey all, i recently moved to Euless, TX and have gone bank crappie fishing over 10 times but haven’t been able to catch any keepers!
I’m going bank crappie fishing tomorrow at Grapevine lake or Lewisville lake for my 24th b-day, any tips on where they might be in this weather? I have no problem going to a different lake or creek also! Creeks,docks,brush piles.. etc

I don't live in that area but I thought I read that there was a marina with a fishing dock there and there may be crappie holding underneath if they dropped brush piles like most marinas do. If you can't or don't find a marina find a bank area that has some submerged trees or bridge pylons under the water. Crappie hold to "structure" and structure can be a slight drop off to a large drop off or submerged rock pile or trees (piles) dropped by other fishermen. The water is cold so the crappie will be deep most of the time. Use a slip bobber to set your depth and use minnows and jigs under slip bobbers. You can find the depth using a slip bobber if you don't know the bottom you're fishing.

Yes some of the marina's have docks you can and I believe they even rent out slips some use to fish in. I am not one that knows much about the lakes around you though.

Not from there, but camped at the Vineyards several times. You can fish the bank in the park.

try the Lewisville fishing barge , the bite is on over there from what I hear . aint heard much about grapevine . lots of spots are small fish festivals if the public has access to them . keeper fish leave in droves this time of year . the bite is spotty at times and it pays to know where and when . most of the barge bites are about a foot off the bottom no matter the water depth is right now . some of the creeks are lit flat up with fish as well if you can find access to one .
if you are dropping a jig hold it VERY still and don't move it much right now as well . if you are creek fishing use a fixed float rather tight to your jig .
look for lots of vehicles parked near the water ,when word gets out everyone will hit the good spots heavy , its a dead give away most of the time ....
