    Default Thanksgiving to Christmas

Decided to take a break from hunting and finish the year out some some perch. Fished multiple lakes and fish all stayed in 20 FOW suspending around 12-18 ft. Had a good time with family and friends and caught several limits. Hopefully I can start 2018 off the way I? ended 2017.

It looks like you had yourself some pretty good trips, not trying to pinpoint any of your hot spots but just querious on what part of the state north central or south do you fish.

I? fish all with in a hour of West Monroe and try to stay close between Darbonne lake, Darbonne Bayou, caney, and some parts of the river

Boy that's a heck of a mess of fish. Personally I love to watch folks catch fish and I don't mind telling people where I go when I do have some success. In sola, it can be a very crowded situation at times so I normally say an area of the basin for example where I'm catching wp and most important the conditions to look for.
If its the bayou black area then the same applies. In almost all cases we're fishing canals; not a 15,000 acre lake like Darbonne. I would tell anyone if I drilled em at Darbonne or Claiborne exactly where I was fishing and again; the conditions and method I used.
This is just me weather its right or wrong dosent enter the equation. It's just the way I am because again I like to see fishetmen succeed.
To show crazy catches and throw clues out on this board on location of these catches actually kinds of discredits the whole event. I've seen hoop nets chock-a-block with wp and who knows what kind of tale can be created.
I am NOT acusing anyone of this classless and very illegal activity. I would like to see cdc members open up and not play guessing games about where they fish. Again we don't want any gps numbers but it would be a more interesting board if some of these reports would actually be complete.
My friends tell me Jerry we caught a few in the basin in the mallet area or lake verret or the marsh. Thats fair to me. I don't want to pound an area that a friend will take his son the next day.
General locations folks. There's enough game shows on tv.
No offense intended; just a viewpoint shared by many on this board. SLIP
