Default Tue/ Thur 12-26 & 28, Last trips of the year???

I gave Les a call to wish him a Merry Christmas. He asked if I wanted to go fishing ! (silly question ) So on Tuesday he took me to his secret spot and we did well. We went home with 14 in the box. They were running smaller than what we were getting but our rods were bending. We let a lot go so that they could grow some more.

Then on Thursday we made another run at the lake. This time we worked the north shore line to see what the main lake was giving up. Again the fish were running a little smaller than what were were getting but the rods were bending and were were having a good time. A lot went back to fight another day but we still took home another 11 fish.

I think that this may do it for us for the rest of this year. But I must admit, my freezer is almost full and we still lots of fishing time a head of us. But I heard that the winter shrimp are starting to show up. We may have to take a few tries at them.

May every one have a good New Years and I hope to see you all out on the water next year.

another good day at the office !

I'm taking a buddy in the morning and that'll probably be it for me for a week or so, let that front blow through. Cheers!

Suggestion, if your freezer is full you can always catch and release for a while.

Thanks for the intel. May have to wait a little on the shrimp. Might try a sheepie trip after the New Year or two until the shrimp show up.
