    Default WTB: 10hp 2 stroke, prefer IL. area


    I'm looking for a 2stroke 10hp motor. Prefer mid 90's era. Willing to travel the Midwest to pick up. Most lakes I fish have a 10hp limit.

    How Dead set are you on mid 90's? Theirs some older and newer than that on St Louis area craigslist, boat parts by owner.

    I'll check them out. Thanks for the tip.
    I have a 40hp 2atroke and mix my oil-fuel in the gas tank. I want to hook up the 10hp to the same tank.

    Tim. ... check with guys at Buells in Canton.... I bought a used 15 hp Johnson with 9.9 cover really reasonable...

    Thanks for the links (he sent a pm). I'm going to check them out. That '77 looks like a great deal. My only concern is ethanol and the rubber in the gaskets, seals. Unless the seals, gaskets were designed for ethanol, they will dissolve when you run ethanol through them. One of the reasons I'm looking for mid-90's motor.

    I was at Terpstras the other day and they had 9.9 4 stroke for $3100 Break out the wallet.
