sounds like a good day other than the camera.

I went fishing on Saturday and experienced a great time. Too bad I didn't get any pictures. I was getting my camera ready, and had to buy a new memory card. Seems like the memory cards have all disappeared out of my gear. That is what happens when you have children who are photography buffs. Anyway, I went to take my first picture, and the camera said that new memory card I paid $20 will not work. Hopefully, my fishing partner will send me some of the pics we took on his phone, so I can get them up here.
Anyway, I brought home 12 nice crappie between 10" and 13", plus one Striper at 19". I threw back a couple of 9" crappie and one 12" green carp.
Didn't catch any other species. The water was 38* when we started, and warmed up to 43* by the time we left at 1 pm. Yeah, we had to break ice in a couple of places on the way out. Then, we had to dodge icebergs while fishing until about 9, when all the ice melted. The fish were suspended about 6' deep in 8 - 10 FOW.

Great report Dean!!! I was there sat for about 3 hours. Caught some nice crappie but released all fish. Was that you close to the park?
Nice catch Dean, a little too cold for me. When I was a little younger I would go and break ice to be able to get to my spot.
