    Default Wheeler 12/2/17

I loaded up the kayak and went out yesterday morning. It had been three or four weeks since my last trip. I thought the water was low then, but was surprised to see the lake is almost dry now. Sheesh.

Anyway, first cast I hooked one immediately. I thought. Turned out to be a skipjack. But, it wasn't too long before I had a 13 1/2" crappie in the boat. It was sloow going through. I fished from daylight to nearly 3pm and ended up with 11 keepers. I did catch a nice 15 3/4" one. Name: IMG_2909.jpg

Where do you live. I didn’t think that crappie lived in saltwater or brackish water
