Yes!!! a 1/4, stick with a real good weight will work in 30' of water. Better bring your boat or Winkie's, their faster than mine. Not sure if they can outrun the C.O's?

I have to say, I have never done that, but would find it humorous. I have always preferred a more stealthy approach.

Try this, when the DNR office is busy with his perpetrators, snatch the wild game from his car/truck.
