    Default Crappie on bridge piling

Here is a snapshot of a school of crappie I came across yeterday on a bridge piling from my Helix 10 mega. I caught about 10 of them, they were mostly between 10 to 11 inches with one right at 13 inches. Really had to fish slow to entice any to bite. These new units really can help you locate the fish but you still have to get them to bite!

Nice shot and congrats on the catch. With the Helix 10 Mega si I have gotten to where when I pull up on my spots that I usually fish I do a quick scan from several angles and if no fish I am off to next spot.

    Regards

Roy, were you using the screen the way Gene likes to do it. It confuses me. Butcher's CK?

Should have mentioned I was only using the right side of the SI, makes the image bigger. The other 3 bridge pilings near this one was void of fish. Caught fish 8 to 10 feet deep. Thanks for the nice comments.
