Thread: Shindig Fish Habitat Sign Up List

Hey guys, this will be an ongoing project that will likely begin in late January or february. At this point I am only putting a list together of people who would be interested in helping with large scale habitat projects in the twin lakes. If anyone is interested who wasn't at the shindig or missed the sign up sheet, send me a pm with your name and email. These projects will include things like digging holes to plant cypress trees, staking down shoreline brush, and possibly planting grasses on the mudflats. Work might be done in large groups or many small groups. Some of these jobs will be quite strenuous, but all help is welcome. Once a contact list is put together we will gameplan and get started. As an agency we are very limited in staff, but anglers and biologists working together can accomplish almost anything.

Oh i know... Not a shot fired. Just was confused about the project. I really think we have an opportunity to make a big impact on our fishery. That's why I asked Paul and them to point us in the right direction.
