Know where your coming from...... I miss my Father and also my Father in law every day. They were both good outdoorsmen. I have lots of good memories.

The ones that know me well have heard of this man. We called him "Midnight" and he was one of the best outdoorsman I have ever known. He was so much more than a father in law, he was my Pop. We lost him 13 years ago to a terrible disease and he is missed every day. Today would have been his 80th birthday, Happy Birthday Pop!! Bet them slabs in Heaven are huge!!

What they said. We know where they are and there too we will be one day. Prayers for all on the days we miss them the most.
I've heard you speak of him several times, wish I had the chance to meet him.

I could tell by the way you talked about him, that he held a special place in your heart. We all have special people in our lives to which we say "Thanks for the memories."Your FIL was such a person. Wish I could have met him.
There are rivers, lakes, ponds, ditches, flats, hills and hollers around here that miss him too. He was a good un.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Thanks for the post. I too have lost someone who wasn't family, in the "by blood" sense, but had he been, the loss couldn't have been any greater. The memories still bring a smile to my face and a tear to my eyes. Thanks again.
