    Default A special shout out.


    That is to the sponsors and friends who gave generously to help make the week end a success. I want to thank Duck Commander for the rods and duck calls, B & M for there donations of which I won a Sam Heaton rod and a Buck's Best reel, Charlie Brewers for all the baits, Lake Fork tackle for baits, some wonderful individual who supplied some very nice knives and the list goes on and on but my memory doesn't. You sponsors prove to us how great our fishing sport is. Of course it need not be said but I will, we all need to thank Slab for all he's done to put us all together.     I am thankfull to the Sponsor that sent the Drift Master Rod Holders. I now have 2 to mount on my little stick steering Boat. Going to this Gathering I got to see the New Salters Poles ---- They are entirely different -- Smaller diameter Rod and the guides are different ... the Reel is the same. My Brother had 2 and he thought the wet line stuck to the Pole. This all New Rod I do Believe will be the Best Ever.
