    Default Black n Gold

Finally back to da House. Traveling da last few weeks.

Need a fish fix but where? Rivers are up and muddy.;(

    The lac dat's where.

Made da launch about half past 9.

Conditions were perfect. Water down about a foot and it's coming up with a strong south wind.
The Bald Eagle wouldn't be still for a pic
Had to settle for one in flight.

Found a open spot to start. Landed a big fat Goo for PPG. Possible world record.😁
Made a move and found a few. Gator gotta go. Dat's my spot.

Went to make another move and Bam there she goes.

Broke off at the swivel. I was able to drag it back in the boat. Hit a stump. Was cracked before. New I was on borrowed time.;(

I've got a used replacement. A lot of disassembly required to replace.

    Also two backup motors.

Be sure to get to the crank and journal bearings quick before rust ruins them. Good luck with the rebuild. Need a ride call me.

Oh man, having the motor break off is never good but at least you were able to bring it back in the boat.
I lost a motor from hitting a stump several years ago. I was not as lucky to recover mine....watched helplessly as it was doing circles as it sank down to the bottom.
Glad you made it back and caught a few fish while out there.

With the motor running it sucked water into the Cylinders. Pull the plugs and get some Oil in them. Dont need the Rings to rust

Got the broke swivel off and the good used one mounted. Waiting on a gasket to bolt da power head back on.

Pulled da plugs and douche the cylinders with 2 cycle oil when I got to da landing.
