My Ranger fisherman barely made it under today. Center console won't make it. Go to savehighrockllake.org and see bridge clearances. I had to hand walk and press down. Same at Abbotts hwy 8.

Went yesterday and found them late afternoon in 15 ft over brush near a dock on HR hitting around 5 ft deep with minnows.
There's not much room at the trestle but did see two bass boats come under with about 3 inches of room to spare. Caught 10 decent crappie catfish and a bluegill. It sure was a beautiful day the Lord gave us.

Leaves and wind were terrible at times today. I fished docks from 8am til 2pm and caught around 75 but many of them were real small. Kept 18 to eat and a few of those were good-uns. Caught some in 8ft others in 4/5 ft. I feel blessed any time I can get outdoors and enjoy God's creation. Catching fish is just a bonus.

I didn't do as well, kept 10 crappie 9 to 12 inches, 1 striper 22". Threw back 1 bass and 8 small crappie 7 to 8 inches. Couldn't put in at flat swamp, truck couldn't handle the wet steep ramp.
