    Default Wateree stripers & cats

Got to colonels creek about 8 this morning. Only saw 2 deer on the way down. Went by Jamie K Outdoors for shad. Ran out to the main channel & marked a bunch of stripers(25 to 35'). As soon as we got some bait in the water, we had fish on. Missed several fish before they moved off somewhere. Put 4 stripers in the boat. Tried several other spots but no hits.

Started drifting for cats. Picked up 6 small ones before the big one hit(35 lbs).

Did not see any top water action at all.

good deal Charles glad to hear you caught a few before they did their disappearing act
btw there is a feller sells bait =shad I think all he got= on south side of Chester
don't know his name but he the one told me about Jimmys wreck. he told me he lives near the Chester county land fill
as you start down hwy 97 pass the hospital and the old cemetery there is a sign on the left that has Chester co. land fill on it I don't know how far it is down that road but he said his house was the first house with a chain link fence around it right near the land fill. he has an honor system if he is not around to help you his bait is 5.00$ doz. or 20$ deal you get 5 doz. I will probably be going down there Monday and will go by his place and have better info on it then hope this helps
Fish tremble at the sound of my name
