    Default Blackshear (31 oct 17)

Went to Blackshear today and what a beautiful day it was. We fished same trash piles we fished last week but the fish have moved. We found few scattered and wound up keeping 26 for fish fry. The temp was 63 when we got there and 68 later. Best colors for us was acid rain and Tennessee Shad. Big fish was 1.9 pounds. We caught several in the channel when we were leaving but bigger fish came from edge of channel.

I got a question, What is a trash pile, never seen this lake, just wondering is it grass logjam or blow downs? We one pole jig grass matts on Santee in the early spring and in Florida in the Lilley pads so I was wonder what kind were on this lake.
    If you don't get hung every-once-n-a-while you ain't jigg'n it right..:D

How well do you catch fish off your piles?
