    14-16 ft of water, 1/32 oz. jig white body and any color head, that is basically all I fish. Using 2 lb. Test I break off a lot. So what ever color head I reach in the cup and get a hold of.

    Curious why your using 2 lb line..... you like it best with the 1/32 jigs to help get it down or you feel the fish are line shy .... maybe both ?

    Just always done better straight lining with 2 lb.. I have fished the same spots with braid with a 2 lb. equivalent and not done as well. Maybe it is confidence in the set up which in my opinion is a big part of my success.
