Thread: Need Fishing Reports For Hartwell

Is there a website where I can get Crappie Fishing reports for Lake Hartwell? Georgia Online News (GON.com) gives bass and stripper reports for Hartwell, but nothing for Crappie. They do, however, give Crappie reports for Clark Hill Lake. Would information about how deep the fish are, what baits/lures are currently effective, etc at Clark Hill be the same for Hartwell as well? I only have a "Scanoe" (a square transom canoe and an electric motor) so my fishing will be limited to the area around Tugaloo State Park. I hope to be able to do some fishing during Thanksgiving. I need to know how deep the fish are and what baits/lures are most effective. If anyone has any other information that you think would be helpful, I would love to hear it. I haven't been able to fish more than bank fishing for the last 3 years or so, and am only in the area on a very limited basis, but I sure would love to be able to catch some fish. I do have a new Garmin Striker 7SV on the Scanone and hope that will be helpful.

Fishing around Tagalo should be good. I would concentrate on the standing timber around gumlog creek which is on the right hand side of the park as going thru entrance.
