    Default Lake Wildcat/Wild Card

Beautiful start to the morning with a Huntinslabs sighting on the water, yep.... him, his son-in-law, & Crappieday all got together to wet some lines. A few specks were caught & a few stories told. It was a long time coming for Mike & I am glad things have got to a point presently that he was able to enjoy some time on the water, even if it was but for a few hours. A testimony to answered prayers, no doubt, & continued til Sylvia's day on the water. As always, a pleasure fishing with you as well Andy. It really isn't always about filling the livewell, the experiences with friends can be just as enjoyable. Pic of Crappieday chill'n in the boat & Mike w/son-n-law.

It was a great morning out there with 2 very good friends. It was some great therapy for myself. Fishing was off the chain good, too bad the bite was not. Healthy fish we did catch though. Thanks to you and Andy both for joining us out there.

Marv, if you ever get a chance to fish with Jeff or Andy, do so. They are for sure 2 of the best guys I know and am honored to call them friends. Dang good fishermen too.

Always liked that little lake. Used to do a traditional archery shoot, with the TBOF, just east, around the corner. Dirt road travels up and northward. Think there's a gate. Camp, venders, and good times with other Goobers, mostly.
Glad you got out, still Praying for you guys.

Yonder, do you still attend the tbof shoots? Been wanting to go and at least check out the vendor booths. Last year I bowhunted was the year Fay came through. Spent most of July and August that year stomling around Woodruff Refuge scouting and ddciding where to hunt. Then Fay came and flooded everything like this year. Been thinking about going back at it again. Specially since I cant ever seem to get back to SC to hunt anymore.

    No Sir,
I am no longer a standing member in the TBOF. Last I knew, they were shooting at or near, the FWC Hunter Safety Camp in Ocala, (sounds like a joke huh?), I think by Salt Springs??
Usually just before turkey season, I think.
Due to some health issues, I'll soon be selling all my stick bows and such. But the Venders, at the shoots, being mostly stick bows guys, have cool stuff, you can't find easily, elsewhere!
Worth the day trip, to just walk through!

glad to see you guys got out and got some much needed time to yourselves. Work in the morning and fence in the afternoon covered my day. Closest I got was to hook up the batteries to make sure they stay up. Prayers continue Mike.

I got closer than you! Augured two drains then had the joy of pulling the rotten transome board off the Jon boat. Humm, .. Why in the world did I use carriage bolts and Nyla nuts...
