As related to Kevmc's post on locating fish, some guys may benefit by learning to read contour lines on the chart to locate drop-offs, ledges, flats, points, holes, mounds. A combo screen with 2D and chart is a great way to locate fish if you know how to interpret the contour lines.

Some of us travel each year to various places to crappie fish. We have gathered intel in a variety of places to prepare for the trip.
A great topic could be how to research, prepare and fish brand new lakes.
This could be a small presenter group/joint effort, or round table topic that collectively we could all benefit from.
I know from our groups travels we have learned alot together.

Yep, side/down imaging are great tools but 2d and a gps/map chip will do alot of damage on lakes like Kentucky/Barkley the biggest part of the year.

don't do it, don't do it. you"ll never look back and, like pulling cranks once you're hooked you're hooked. Better give your wallet to the trash can cause there won't be anything left in it.

How about how to remove Hooks from the body. I hear we have a few guides on the Ky forum skilled in this.

I have only got a crankbait treble in my hand one time and that was in parking lot at boat ramp....i got it in me reaching over my rod racks to do something. There was a man close by....i asked him to come over and help me....i had the hook in a pair of needle nose pliers....i told him to hold the pliers tight....he asked what are you going to do? I closed my eyes and said...this...and thrust my hand away real hard and quick. The guy almost fainted. I wiped the blood off drank a cup of coffee and went fishing.

Cray and I got his seminar set up. He's going to talk about the Big 4 and Washington in Mississippi and how to prepare to fish on them. He and I will be talking about planer boards and how we set them up for different applications.

I don't know about the rest of you guys but I'm excited about all the out-of-state guys and new members who will be attending.
